#717 Long Exposure Photography – A two-hour presentation Saturday August 2, 2025 10AM – 12:00PM at ProCam Livonia

August 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$25.00
Join us for this two-hour presentation about Long Exposure Photography. A typical exposure is usually less than one-second long. Landscape photographer often adjust their exposure to gain an exposure longer than one full second to allow water falling over a waterfall or cascade to blur the water and soften the image. Water tends to look more natural when moving, so high shutter speeds are seldom aesthetically effective. Learn about the use of a 3, 5, 7 or 10 stop neutral density filter to create a “blur the water” effect. Learn about the cell phone apps to recalculate the correct exposure after placing the ND filter on your lens combined with proper tripod use.
