This one-day four-hour workshop will provide information and consultation about photographing trees and wild flowers found at the Matthai Botanical Gardens outdoor trails.  Bring your mild telephoto lens or macro lens if you have one. If not, consider bringing a set of extension tubes.  Bring your shoe mount flash as we will teach you some flash techniques and how to take the harsh light from a shoe mount flash and soften it up for great looking flowers. MPW will have some reflectors available, but if you bring your own, so much the better.  We will teach you about correct ISO selection, shutter speeds, f/stops and composition. This will be a small class limited to 10 so everyone will get a great deal of personal attention. Build your inventory of images beyond mere butterflies and flowers.  We will hike the easy and short, but fascinating Sam Graham tree trail.
