This three-hour workshop offers instruction and hands-on participation to create surreal images using a digital camera through the use of screw-in infrared cut-off filters and/or cameras that were converted to digital infrared by the factory. After a short classroom discussion, students will shoot images outdoors. Shortly after, students will manipulate and print their Digital Infra-Red images inside our computer lab. Information will be provided about aftermarket companies that can modify your spare digital camera body to shoot exceptional digital infra-red images. MPW can provide two factory modified cameras set for B&W digital infra-red images. Know that you can shoot digital infra-red with your current camera with a filter screwed on to the front of your lens or one from MPW that has been converted by the factory.
