#506 Photograph the Prima Ballerina Downtown Detroit Sunday July 21, 2024 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This 3-hour workshop will provide instruction and access to photographing a young beautiful prima ballerina on location. You will photograph the ballerina while performing athletic leaps and graceful poses. Posing will occur on and in front of backgrounds which include steps and ledges, graffiti, tall buildings and the beltway; all to make the compositions created there a real portfolio builder whether you are using them for camera club competitions or for practice when shooting high school senior portraits for their environmental portraits. We will demonstrate and teach you how to optimize and enhance your image using fill flash and reflectors as needed. Bring your tripod. We will meet on the Rooftop of Z's Parking garage.(10th floor) Address is 1234 Library St., Detroit. 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon. Enrollment is limited to 15 students. Parking fee at Z's garage is not included in your tuition. Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are welcome to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot. Suggested tip is 10% of the course fee for a Portrait/Fashion workshop, 15% of the course fee for a Lingerie/Boudoir workshop and up to 20% for a Nude/Figure workshop or even more if your model performs well (and of course; they will! Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens and Flash.  Just as you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here.
