#1001 The Art and Craft of B&W Master Class
Instructor(s): Bryce Denison
Tuition: $500.00
This six-week ten-session MASTER CLASS will take the B&W film photographer back to the glory days when the only way to make premium black and white prints was in the wet darkroom. Not anymore! Modern day ink jet printers can now surpass wet darkroom prints. Learn about how to see in color then convert your digital color image to a successful Black & White image. Learn about NIK Silver Effects (DXO) and NIK High Dynamic Range (HDR) programs. This class involves homework assignments, portfolio reviews, and field trip shooting opportunities during class. MPW will include instruction and access to high resolution scanners if some of your best work was done long ago on film. This premium class includes four-five weekend workshops: B&W Digital Infrared (#130), Elmwood Cemetery and Heidelburg Project and #123 Digital Panorama Stitching. This all-inclusive class is not just classroom theory and field trips.
