# 235 Intermediate Lightroom Classic Techniques in a Day
Instructor(s): Sean A Dunn
Tuition: $125.00
You learned all of the basics in the Introductory course. Let’s build on that. We will show more advanced approaches to global and targeted adjustments to tones, contrast, and color that will bring more color, depth, and interest to your photos. To make more accurate and natural adjustments, we will cover advanced masking selections (including the latest Artificial Intelligence [AI] options). We will cover simple approaches to help manage and organize your growing portfolio of photos. Students often have issues with Catalog structure and missing photos – we will help resolve these issues (bring your laptop and external hard drives). We will cover useful settings for signing your artwork (adding a watermark) and sharing your photos while retaining your intellectual property rights. We will discuss how to use Photoshop for advanced object removal and sky replacement.
This class is designed for some who has been regularly using Lightroom for a minimum of 6 months. Students are invited to bring in their own catalog and image files; on either a laptop or external drive for use in this workshop. Time will be allotted for your general questions on Lightroom Classic. Most Adobe Lightroom problems revolve around a file structure error, so we will spend some time on that particular problem.
Just as a reminder; all digital editing classes are held at our Southfield campus located at 29260 Wildbrook Drive. (just east of Telegraph and just north of 12 Mile Rd.) Midwest Photography Workshops maintains a bank of 9 computers in our computer lab, but students are welcome to bring in their own laptop computer if they wish.
