#445 On the Go with GoDox Flash System

Instructor(s): Bryce Denison

Tuition: $100.00

This four-hour workshop will provide students with an easy; lightweight, inexpensive travel lighting or studio system. GoDox manufactures an entire lighting system; easily to transport and setup anywhere. Students will learn how to sync multiple GoDox AD200 flashes and/or to the GoDox V1 shoe mount flash. Learn about the difference of bare bulb lighting, globes, umbrellas and soft-boxes and how they illuminate your subjects differently. Learn how to use a flash meter to achieve “PERFECT EXPOSURE and LIGHTING RATIOS” to within 1/10 of an f/stop. Learn to set up additional lights as background lights, hair lights to complement the basic main and fill light. Learn about the GoDox Triggers that can fire multiple flashes from your camera’s hot shoe. Learn about achieving perfect white balance to minimize excess post production editing. Bring your camera, mild telephoto lens and lens hood and plenty of media cards. Model is provided.

This workshop can include the #999 Post Workshop Private shoot immediately following the conclusion of this workshop. You can get a one-hour private shoot with the model for $100.00 which may include a model release. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged and only two private shoots will be offered per workshop. Enrollment is first-come-first served.

Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens. Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are encouraged to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot.
