# 626 Photograph the Detroit Flyhouse Aerial Circus
Instructor(s): Bryce Denison
Tuition: $150.00
Come join us behind the scenes at the Circus! We will have several aerial performers to photograph on various apparatus such as trapeeze, lyra, silks, vertcal pole and hammock for you to photograph. The models will be a combination of amature and professional aerialists. They will perform for your photographic pleasure.
Midwest Photography Workshops will provide supplemental lights on this location shoot. Careful attention will be spent on white balance and composition. With the supplemental lighting and moving performers, stop action will be easy for you to capture the “Decisive Moment” so prized in sports and performance photos.
Each of the performers will repeat their performance multiple times to insure that each photographer will “GET THE SHOT”! Not only will the photographers get an opportunity to shoot with our lights, but can also shoot using available light as well. Tripods will not be needed nor welcome. However, all photograhers and performers must wear socks with no shoes to protect the floor. Class size will be SRICTLY limited to ten students to insure that each photographer gets ample shooting. This is a two-hour workshop because the perfomers will become fatigued long before the photographers will.
The models working for you will be paid by the photographers by providing several of their best photographs saved to a USB media card without the photographers watermark. The performers will be granted use of the images in their portfolio or to post on social media. Photographers “Forgetting or Failing” to provide images to the performers will not be welcome in future MPW events.
