#852 Film Making (Video) in Five Weeks

  This five-week six session class is the one designed to start and complete a video project for the students who have completed #851 The Transition from photography to Film Making (Videography) a one-day class. This class meets for five consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6:30-9:30pm at the Southfield Campus. There; the students will be exposed to by lecture, demonstration and hands on learning the multiple disciplines and skills necessary to complete a short feature film. Students will learn scheduling, script writing, setting a casting call for actors, makeup, wardrobe and location selection. We will provide a deeper dive into lighting, audio recording and editing than the one-day video class #851.
Students will write a script, then during the all-day Sunday session actually video a short film led by three-time EMMY winning instructor Timoshion Jones. Mr Jones will also provide information about the equipment needed to complete a short film like, dollies, rails, Glide Cams and lighting. After the all day Sunday shooting session, the last two weeks will be spent editing the video to produce the finished product; a short film video. The #851 class Transitioning from Photography to Video is a prerequisite for this class.

The Tuesday Evening sessions include:  Tuesday October 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19 6:30 -9:30 PM and Sunday November 10   9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
