#901 Photograph the Nude/Figure model on Location - Wildbrook Campus
Instructor(s): Bryce Denison
Tuition: $200.00
The location for this workshop is a place where the physical beauty of the model is juxtaposed against the equally beautiful outdoor nature setting amongst the trees in a forest and river. This workshop is well suited for the fine-art photographer looking to shoot B & W images; infrared images are excellent also; but that is not to say that color images will not also be spectacular. Bring a telephoto and wide angle zoom and tripod. A polarizing filter and shoe mount flash will be helpful. Bring $5.00 for a Bar-B-Q lunch. (Nothing fancy just hotdogs, chips and soda).
We will be walking in water nearly a foot deep. Bring water shoes and cutoff shorts or swimwear. Insect repellent is also a good idea. The workshop will begin with a short slide show to illustrate the possibilities of the day. After the morning portion of the shoot is completed, we will break for lunch and return to shooting for the rest of the afternoon. Bryce will be on hand to assist with lighting, camera settings, composition and posing of the model for the rest of the day.
This workshop can include the #999 Post Workshop Private shoot immediately following the conclusion of this workshop. You can get a one-hour private shoot with the model for $100.00 which may include a model release. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged and only two private shoots will be offered per workshop. Enrollment is first-come-first served.
Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens. Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity; such is the case here. You are encouraged to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot. Suggested tip is 10% of the course fee for a Portrait/Fashion workshop, 15% of the course fee for a Lingerie/Boudoir workshop and up to 20% for a Nude/Figure workshop.
