# 925 Photographing the Nude/Figure model in Infra-red on location

Instructor(s): Bryce Denison

Tuition: $200.00

This one-day workshop will provide instruction and shooting opportunities to photograph the nude/figure model on location in nature using two specially factory-modified cameras designed to photograph in infra-red B &W. Students will also have opportunities to use these cameras or use special filters provided by MPW on their own digital cameras out-of-doors in a delightfully creative location.  Students are encouraged to shoot color digital images as well.  The morning session is in the classroom to learn about the workings of Infrared. The afternoon session is on location at the Wildbrook Campus which includes a river side shooting place and a 50×30 Zen garden photographing a figure model. Though the emphasis will be on Black & White, full spectrum color photography will also be outstanding.

This workshop can include the #999 Post Workshop Private shoot immediately following the conclusion of this workshop. You can register for a one-hour private shoot with the model for $100.00 which may include a model release. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged and only two private shoots will be offered per workshop. Enrollment is first-come-first served.

Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, shoe mount flash and perhaps a reflector, tripod and a lens hood for each lens. Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are encouraged to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot.
