#217 Workflow in Digital Image Processing using Lightroom Classic – A One Day Workshop starting Saturday March 28, 2026 10:00 AM-2:00PM

March 28 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

$100.00
This one-day workshop is designed to compliment photographers that have already taken #210 Basic Adobe Lightroom Classic. In the basic Lightroom class, students learned how to download images into the Lightroom catalog and perform basic tone and color adjustments.  This workshop starts with how to calibrate the computer monitor to insure that we can achieve accurate color matching the monitor with the output file or print.  Then, we will learn about renaming and formatting the camera’s media card. Lightroom and other programs have download presents including clarity, sharpening, lens corrections and white balance.  We will demonstrate and discuss which of these features are important to you.  Next we will demonstrate and discuss how to rate the photos from your shooting event; to separate the wheat from the chaff so you don’t have to trip over inferior images and maximize your time efficiency  when performing noise reduction and other tasks.  We will learn about Lightroom Classic’s star rating system and their colored flag rating system. Adobe Lightroom Classic has no save button, so you must export the image to another folder, catalog or collection.  During the export process, photographers can apply sizing, shaping, noise reduction and sharpening to the image.  We will discuss and demonstrate this part of the workflow as well.  Finnally; there are several independent software plugins available for use.  Most come at an additional cost above and beyond the price of Adobe Lightroom Classic or Adobe Photoshop.  We will demonstrate the virtues of Anthropics Portrait Professional, Topaz and DxO including their newest DxO RAW 5. This individual workshop is part of the suite of classes and workshops that make up the #1030 MASTER CLASS on digital Editing. Sign up for the MASTER CLASS and save $200.00 as compared to registering for each class separately.
