# 403 Posing, Propping and Accessorizing your Model Starting Saturday January 11, 2025, 1-5 PM

January 11, 2025 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$100.00
This four-hour workshop is a slight departure from MPW’s normal workshop. It provides both photographers and models an insight into what makes some models successful and some photographers better. This workshop spends more time comparing the difference between a successful pose, prop or accessory and one that falls short. Learn from the best! We will offer tips on what an aspiring model or seasoned photographer needs to do in front of a camera.  Students are expected to bring their camera and the shooting will be more about designing the image rather than setting up the lighting.  Model is provided. This workshop can include the #999 Post Workshop Private shoot immediately following the conclusion of this workshop. You can get a one-hour private shoot with the model for $100.00 which may include a model release with advanced notice. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged and only two private shoots will be offered per workshop. Enrollment is first-come-first served. Students are expected to bring: camera with ample media cards, wide angle and telephoto lenses, tripod and a lens hood for each lens. Just like you go to a restaurant, it is common and appropriate to give your waitress/waiter a tip or gratuity, such is the case here. You are welcome to provide a gratuity to your model at the end of a successful shoot. Suggested tip is 10% of the course fee for a Portrait/Fashion workshop, 15% of the course fee for a Lingerie/Boudoir workshop and up to 20% for a Nude/Figure workshop or even more if your model performs well (and of course; they will!)
