#721 The Art and Craft of Black & White – A Recorded Lecture/Workshop

January 1, 2028 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

$50.00
This 3-hour program will take the B&W film photographers back to the glory days when the only way to make premium black and white prints was in the wet darkroom. Not anymore! Modern day ink jet printers can now surpass wet darkroom prints in every way! Learn about NIK (DXO) Silver Effects and NIK High Dynamic Range (HDR) software programs. Learn about the Biology of seeing in color, but then the mental process to shoot in color, then converting it to a Black and White image for maximum effect. How does one learn to see in Black and white? We will include some brief information about how to use high resolution scanners if some of your best work was done on film in order to digitize the images. So this program is suitable for all people who edit their photos especially if you use Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop.
