# 604 Photographing Detroit Night Lights

Instructor(s): Bryce Denison

Tuition: $100.00

Photograph the dynamic city lights of downtown Detroit at night! This one-evening workshop will provide instruction and opportunity to photograph some of Detroit’s night- time jewels. The Fox Theater, Greektown Casino, the Campus Martius fountains, a sports stadium plus Woodward street scenes all contribute to an outstanding evening workshop. Students are expected to meet at the fountain at Campus Martius at 7:00 PM. We will conclude around 11:00 PM. You may want to park at the Hockey Town parking structure so at the conclusion of the workshop will need only to walk across the street to pick up your car and drive home.

As we will use the People Mover and walk between locations, you should plan to travel light with a minimum amount of equipment, but you will need a tripod. We will cover  very basic HDR techniques, Panorama, how to zoom during a time exposure and the use of a tilt/shift lens.
