This Friday evening workshop will provide an opportunity to photograph the impressive Detroit City Skyline from the shore of Windsor, Ontario. Bring your tripod because we will explore the journey of the sun as it sets behind the skyscrapers in this dramatic view. Learn to calculate long time exposures and the difference between sharpness generated by depth of field and acuity, and about filters, polarizer and the split neutral density (gradual) filter. Learn to prepare your images for assembly later as an HDR composite. Rain date is the following evening. Bring your passport or enhanced driver’s license! Dress warm and bring a flashlight. Students are expected to meet us at Dieppe Park Gardens at the foot of Ouellette Ave. at 7:00pm. Make sure you bring your passport or at least a Michigan Enhanced Drivers License to get into Canada and back.
